Youth Ministry

At St Paul’s, our youth ministry consists of our Friday night youth group. We are a group of teenagers that are keen to have fun seeking to discover and learn more about God. We meet together every Friday during the school term from 7pm-9pm in the church hall. Each meeting provides the teenagers with the opportunity to play some games, have some fun, meet new people, eat some dinner and learn more about God. The group is open to all highschool aged teenagers from Year 7-Year 12.

Bible Study

Part of the youth group is coming together to know more about God through bible readings and devotion. We recently looked at the bible study DVD series ‘Follow me’ by David Platt in which we looked at what it means to be a Christian and to truely follow Christ. We also read through different books in the bible ascertaining what the scriptures are saying and how this can be applied to us in our social context, including Philippians and Ephesians.

Teen Daily Devotions

In order to help some of the youth spend some time alone with god we have created some daily devotions based on specific books of the bible. If you’re interested click on the link below and will post one each day for the next nine days. The document is simple with four sections; read, think, apply and pray. They can be done by yourself or with others.
