Church Services

Church services are a time to gather together to…

  • Worship the LORD.
  • Learn about The LORD God from the Bible.
  • Bring prayers to God.
  • Share in Holy Communion as commanded by Jesus himself.
  • Gain strength for the pressures of day to day living and to build friendships.
  • Be encouraged by fellowshipping with other believers.

Our Sunday church gatherings run for around 60 minutes and are followed by great morning tea after 8am and 9:45am church services or a tasty, light dinner after the 5pm service.

At the heart of our time together is the Bible teaching, where we spend around a half an hour hearing God speak to us through his word.

The music is a mixture in its style with piano or Church organ, with a preference for modern and older hymns.

As we gather to worship God, we honour God through commencing every service at its advertised time. Yes, we start on time.

What to wear at Church? Some people wear board-shorts and others wear trousers and a jacket. Wear clothes you’d be happy to wear to the cinema.

We hope and pray that our Sunday meetings are times when the word of God is central and there is opportunity to love and serve one another.

As well as our three services we also conduct baptisms, weddings and funerals on request. Details of these special services can be found on here.

We offer three church services each Sunday at the times shown below.

8am Traditional Service

The 8am Service is ‘liturgical’ in style, which means that we like to read together things like a creed (a statement of belief) or a prayer (like the Lord’s Prayer). We hand out prayer books during this Service.

  • Rich in Anglican liturgy with a mix of traditional and occasional modern hymns accompanied by the organ.
  • Holy Communion is celebrated most Sundays.
  • The service is followed by morning tea.

9:45am All Age Worship

The 9:45 Service is ‘all age worship’ which means that we like to read together things like a statement of the Christian faith or a prayer (like the Lord’s Prayer). We have all the words we say in an easy-to-follow format on either a projector screen or a printed handout. The wide range of ages at this Service, which captures the expression of being the family of God.

  • A mixture of contemporary songs led by musician & singers
  • Varied format including the celebration of Holy Communion 1st & 3rd Sundays and Prayer and Proclamation Services on the 2nd & 4th
  • The service is followed by morning tea.

5pm Families @ Five

Families @ Five is designed with young families in mind, (and anyone else who would like to attend). At the 5pm service we serve a light dinner afterwards… ideal for busy families or individual on the night before the work/school week begins. During Families @ Five you will experience the interaction between the leaders of this service and the congregation.

  • Informal with contemporary music.
  • The service is followed by a light dinner.
